Baroque during the Enlightenment
Until July 16, 2017, the Petit Palais art museum will be displaying “Baroque during the Enlightenment”, an exhibition that throws light on the 18th-century spectacular masterpieces of the churches of Paris.
Covering an outstanding selection of fascinating religious paintings as well as sketches painted in the period between the Régence and the Revolution in France, the exhibition presents exceptional pieces by distinguished artists who marked that period such as Largillière, Restout, Lemoine, Vien, David, and Van Loo.
Located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, facing the Seine River and the Champs-Elysees Avenue, the Petit Palais is actually not too far from our Sister Hotels, which makes it a great opportunity for you to be one of this exhibition’s attendees if you're staying at one of our hotels.
